Job summary

Command Recruitment is seeking a Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician in the UK to join a supportive workshop. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs, and assist with diagnostics as you develop your skills through in-house training and progression opportunities.

The role offers a competitive salary (£28,000-£40,000) with overtime at time-and-a-half, a bonus scheme, and access to a company car and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds) is required.
• Main dealer experience preferred.
• Previous diagnostic experience is advantageous but not essential.

Are you a qualified Vehicle Technician looking to develop your diagnostic skills and progress your career?

My client is looking for a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic to join their team. Main dealer experience is preferred, and this is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive workshop environment with access to technical training, performance-related bonuses and opportunities to develop your skills.

The Role

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.

• Assist with vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding, with full training available.

• Work to high standards of workmanship and efficiency.

• Develop your technical knowledge through ongoing training and upskilling.

• Work as part of a supportive workshop team.

The Ideal Candidate

• NVQ Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds).

• Main dealer experience preferred.

• Previous diagnostic experience advantageous, but not essential.

• An interest in working with multiple vehicle brands.

• A positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
