Job summary

MoveATech is seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to service, maintain and repair a varied fleet of military and commercial equipment across multiple locations in the UK. You will diagnose faults and perform high-quality repairs with accuracy and ownership.

The role offers a strong reward package including a salary of £37,791 plus a £3,000 per annum bonus, plus funded training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Apprenticeship in a related engineering function (C&G or NVQ Technical Certificate) with Functional Skills.
• Previous experience as Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Plant Fitter, Vehicle Mechanic or similar.
• Mechanical background with hands-on maintenance and fault diagnosis skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a diverse fleet of military and commercial equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out high-quality repairs.
• Keep customers informed with clear communication and work to high standards.

Vehicle Maintenance Technician

We're looking for skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technicians to join a leading defence equipment maintenance team, supporting the vehicles and equipment that help keep critical operations moving. Opportunities are available across Stafford, Yorkshire, Devon, Ipswich, Kent, Salisbury and Oxford.

This is a varied, hands-on role where your expertise will make a visible difference every day. You'll service, maintain and repair a diverse fleet of military and commercial material handling equipment, plant vehicles and associated ancillary equipment, working across diesel, electric and modified off-the-shelf machinery.

From diagnosing faults and getting to the root cause, to carrying out high-quality repairs and keeping customers informed, you'll be trusted to work with accuracy, ownership and pride. If you enjoy solving practical problems, working with robust equipment and being part of a team that values technical skill, this could be a great next move.

• Level 2 Apprenticeship (C&G or NVQ Technical Certificate and Functional Skills) in a related engineering function
