Job summary

Swansway Motor Group seeks a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team, delivering high-quality service and repair to customers and ensuring every vehicle is safe and roadworthy.

With at least 3 years of experience and a Level 3 qualification, you will work with the Workshop Controller, use diagnostic equipment, complete service documentation, and communicate clearly with the Service Advisor team. You will enjoy a supportive environment and benefits package.

• 3+ years experience as Vehicle Technician (preferably franchised dealership)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical information clearly
• A valid driving licence for flexible engagement in various tasks

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine service works and pre-delivery inspections per manufacturer guidelines
• Collaborate with Workshop Controller to systematically complete tasks
• Inform Service Advisor team of any additional necessary repairs to customers

As a Vehicle Technician at Swansway Motor Group, you will be pivotal in maintaining high standards for vehicle safety and customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting routine service works and pre-delivery inspections in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Collaborating with the Workshop Controller to systematically work through assigned tasks.
• Communicating effectively with the front of house Service Advisor team to notify customers of any additional necessary repairs.
• Utilising diagnostic equipment to check service quality and perform road tests.
• Accurately completing all relevant service documentation and job cards, adhering to dealership and warranty requirements.

• L3 qualification in vehicle service and repair.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably within a franchised dealership.
