Job description

Vehicle Technician required in Poole and Christchurch

  • 4-day Working Week
  • Monday to Friday with a day off during the week
  • Allows for one long weekend per month
  • Saturday mornings on rota
  • £33,000 Basic Salary
  • £50,000 OTE

Our client, a franchised main dealership, requires an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician to join their team in Poole. The technician will have skills in all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing, including diagnostics and electronics. The applicant should be highly motivated and flexible according to team needs.

Our client is offering the successful Vehicle Technician:

  • £33,000 basic salary, rising to £36,000 with diagnostic manufacturer training
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
  • 4-day working week with a different day off each week
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Friendly environment

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

  • Carrying out service checks
  • Using diagnostics effectively
  • Performing repair work
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication
  • Maintaining the company's professional image
  • Carrying out wheel alignment and other duties as requested

What our client expects:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification (essential)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience
  • MOT licence (advantageous but not essential)
  • Positive attitude towards work
  • Computer literate
  • Full UK driving licence
