Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire in Penrith is seeking a Vehicle Technician to maintain and repair our fleet, ensuring safety and legal compliance for customers who hire from us.

We offer an extensive benefits package and opportunities to upskill through our IMI accredited training department, including Hybrid & EV repairs and other advanced systems. A competitive basic salary plus overtime awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for our customers to hire.
• If you are Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years employment as a technician/mechanic or fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and compliance for hire.
• Participate in internal IMI accredited training to upskill on Hybrid & EV, tail lift, braking systems, electrics, etc.

Weekly Hours:

42.5 hours / Day Shifts Only. As and when required overtime is available and this is paid at time and half.

About you:

About our training:

We have our own internal IMI accredited training department, where we can upskill you on such things as Hybrid & EV vehicle repair, Tail lift, braking systems, electrics etc:

For those trained to Level 2, you can take a training needs analysis so we can build a personalised training program for you to increase your skillset.
