Job description

The Role:
Are you an experienced Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Technician with a passion for the motor trade? Our client, a reputable and growing motor trade business with a workshop facility in Park Gate, Southampton, is expanding their team and is looking for a skilled individual to help manage the increasing workload.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working independently, and has a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair in the motor trade sector.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
  1. Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair work on various vehicle makes and models.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues with precision.
  3. Conduct thorough inspections and ensure all vehicles meet the required safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  4. Collaborate with the workshop control team to maintain efficient workflow and meet customer demands.
  5. Work independently while managing time and resources effectively to meet deadlines.
  6. Hold a valid UK driver's license.
Package:
  1. Basic Salary: £38,000 (Dependent on experience) + £200 per month performance bonus.
  2. Working Hours: Monday to Friday [8:00 am - 5:00 pm] with a 1-in-3 Saturday morning rota.
