• Basic Salary: Up to £40,000.00

• Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30 with every third Saturday 8:30-12:30
• Working for a reputable family-run independent garage!

Due to expansion in this well-established family business, an opportunity has arisen for a workshop technician to join our friendly team. Our client is a superb used car showroom specializing in high-end and prestige cars, with a personal touch in sales and staffing.

The ideal candidate will be familiar and competent with working on complex modern vehicle electrical systems and technologies. MOT tester preferred.

Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:

• Perform diagnostic tests and identify faults in vehicles
• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs, including servicing, brakes, suspension, and engine work
• Complete work to a high standard and in a timely manner
• Use diagnostic equipment and computer systems to diagnose vehicle problems
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships

Requirements for the Successful Vehicle Technician:

• Level 3 Diploma / City & Guilds in vehicle mechanics or proven equivalent experience
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Full UK Clean Driving License (preferably clean)
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle components
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
• Ability to work as part of a strong and well-established team
