Salary: £30,000.00 - £34,000.00 up to £6,000 in uncapped bonus

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Saturday 8:30am to 12pm rota basis

Lookers Volkswagen Northallerton is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and completing repairs.

Reporting to George Blake, Service Manager, you will receive ongoing support and training, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training to advance your career.

Our technicians are essential to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle health checks with advanced technology
• Conduct vehicle services according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
• Execute additional repairs with customer approval
• Carry out warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines and complete relevant documentation
• Road test vehicles to ensure faults are rectified
• Maintain high standards in paperwork completion

Qualifications

Applicants should have workshop experience, be self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to meet high standards. A full UK driving license and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are required. Experience with the brand is advantageous.
