Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a Lincoln main dealer. You will diagnose faults, service vehicles to manufacturer standards, and liaise with customers and service teams to deliver outstanding service.

The role offers a negotiable basic salary up to £45,000 with an overtime-enhanced OTE of £59,000. Manufacturer training and long-term career development are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 3 IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or similar environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MOT licence is desirable but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair and diagnostics.
• Professional approach with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs and servicing on vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Perform diagnostic checks to identify faults efficiently.
• Liaise with service advisors, customers, and management to ensure excellent customer service.
• Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and general faults.
• Complete work in accordance with DVSA standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and effective communication.
• Carry out all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair as required.
