Vehicle Technician

  • Full time, with an alternating two-shift pattern

Since 1993, Vehicle Technical Services Limited has been a trusted name in commercial vehicle repair. Serving local businesses and national fleets, we operate as a fully independent HGV/LGV servicing and repair centre. Our services include full diagnostics, brake testing, and VOSA-approved tachograph facilities for all makes of vehicles. As a family-run business, we prioritise our team's growth and satisfaction.


The Role

As a Vehicle Technician HGV/LGV, youll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and reliability of a wide range of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly examine all vehicles to assess safety and serviceability
  • Diagnose faults and carry out permanent, high-quality repairs
  • Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all makes and types of vehicles
  • Complete service documentation to a high standard
  • Report on vehicle condition and recommend necessary repairs
  • Out-of-hours on-call work may be available

Shift Pattern:

  • Early shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Late shift: Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Alternate Saturdays: 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM
