An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a prestige franchise-approved car dealership located in Newport.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

• The pay scale on offer is between £24-36,000, starting basic salary pending franchise qualifications.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• MOT Testing
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

• A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach.

The salary of this role is up to £36,000 basic with OTE of £39,600. Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am-1:00pm paid as overtime.
