Overview

Lanarkshire Land Rover

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: 42 hours per week

Salary: £49,600 OTE (including £33,000 to £43,000 basic depending on qualifications and experience, plus bonus)

Joining bonus: £2,000 for all successful technicians, paid as £1,000 in the first month and £1,000 after 6 months of employment

Lookers Lanarkshire Land Rover is recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks, services, and repairs using the latest technology.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing vehicle health checks
• Conducting vehicle services as per manufacturer guidelines
• Carrying out additional repairs authorized by customers
• Completing warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines
• Road testing vehicles to ensure faults are fixed
• Completing all relevant paperwork accurately

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, relevant industry experience, and a valid UK driving license. Previous Jaguar Land Rover experience is not essential, as training will be provided, including diagnostics, MOT, and EV experience.
