Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a busy accident repair centre in Macclesfield. You will join a professional workshop team and contribute to delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance.

In this full-time, permanent role you will service, diagnose faults, and perform MOT tests, ensuring work meets manufacturer standards. A strong eye for detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Current MOT Tester Licence preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
• Good understanding of modern vehicle systems and technology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of makes and models.
• Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment.
• Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
• Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts required
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support workshop productivity and efficiency targets.
