Job description

As a Porsche Vehicle Technician, you will maintain, repair, and service our customers' vehicles to the highest standards. Communicating effectively with the Service Team, you will diagnose potential problems, fix mechanical and electrical issues, and carry out routine service work. Ensuring accurate record keeping and first-time fixes, you will aim to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Perform repairs and service across the Porsche vehicle range.
  • Conduct road tests to verify repairs and vehicle functionality.
  • Document services, parts used, and issues found during inspections.
  • Communicate with the Service Team or customers regarding vehicle issues and repair options.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and Porsche’s customer service standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A full vehicle (Category B) driver’s license, ideally for at least two years.
  • Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
  • Experience working within a franchised automotive dealership.
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills for diagnosing and repairing faults.
  • Ability to work efficiently, diligently, and quickly.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Auto-Electrical and Mobile Electrical Operations.
  • Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement.
  • Experience in a prestige franchised automotive dealership.
