Job description

Vehicle Technician
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 basic depending on qualifications and experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5:30pm with no weekend work!

Job Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our client’s workshop near Cheltenham. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. This role offers a great work environment in a well-run workshop for an expanding company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
  • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or Level 2 with an MOT License
  • Full UK driving license
