Job summary

Autotech Recruit Ltd is recruiting for a growing family-run automotive business in Kettering. We seek a skilled Vehicle Technician to join the on-site workshop and take ownership of all activities, delivering high-quality workmanship.

Role includes servicing, diagnostics, repairs, health checks and vehicle presentation. Monday–Friday, no weekend work; minimum 5 years' experience and passion for cars required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the workshop.
• Commitment to delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Vehicle Technician

Kettering
£38,000 – £40,000 basic salary
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and has a genuine passion for cars?

We’re working with a growing, family-run independent automotive business in Kettering that has built an excellent reputation for vehicle sales, detailing, valeting and customer service. Having recently expanded its workshop operation, they are now looking for a skilled technician to take ownership of all workshop activities.This is a unique opportunity to be the sole technician on site, working on an interesting mix of vehicles ranging from everyday cars through to prestige and enthusiast vehicles. The business prides itself on attention to detail, bespoke customer service and a high-quality finish in everything they do.

The Role

• Preparation of retail and sales vehicles
• Routine servicing and maintenance
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Mechanical repairs
• Vehicle health checks and inspections
• Ensuring all vehicles are presented to a high standard

The Workshop

• Modern, fully fitted workshop
• 5-ton vehicle lift and scissor lift
• Family-run environment with a close-knit team
• Monday to Friday working pattern with no weekend requirements
• Autonomy to manage your own workload

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician
