• Basic Salary up to £36,000 DOE
• OTE up to £41,940 DOE
• Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm
• 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am-12:00pm
• Saturdays paid at time and a half
• Full Training Provided
• Level 2/3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Qualification Required

Our Client, a well-known vehicle rental business, is seeking a Vehicle Technician in the Huddersfield area.

With over 35 years' trading experience, the client is known as the go-to rental group for B2B Fleet Management and private hire rentals. With a nationwide fleet of over 55,000 vehicles, you can ensure you’ll never be left short of work.

The successful Vehicle Technician will be expected to:

• Deliver maintenance, servicing, and warranty work for a fleet of vehicles, including Vans, Light Commercial vehicles, and Cars.
• Use your technical knowledge to work on electrical and mechanical systems for a range of light commercial vehicles.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify faults, perform repairs, or replace parts, and carry out preventive maintenance and MOT preparation.
• Ensure customer vehicles are back on the road quickly to meet customer expectations.

To be considered for this role, you must be:

• A level 2 or 3 NVQ or City and Guilds qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with a solid workshop background.
• Experienced in a fast-paced environment, capable of working within standard job times while maintaining quality.
• Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and planning your work effectively.
• A team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude eager to assist colleagues.
• Committed to providing excellent customer service and understanding customer and supplier needs.
