Luxury Vehicle Technician

Horsham area £40,000 £50,000 Monday to Friday Weekly Pay

Tired of fixing the same four things on the same four cars?

Our client is a small, family-run independent specialist garage in the Horsham area, and they re looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team.

The workshop specialises mainly in Porsche and prestige vehicles, so if the thought of spending your day working on interesting cars rather than fighting with someone's 2008 diesel and a seized caliper sounds appealing, keep reading.

You’ll be joining a close-knit team of two technicians and an apprentice, with plenty of independence and your own ramp and work area.

What you’ll be doing

Its a proper technician's role no spending half your day wondering where the coffee machine has gone.

You’ll be carrying out:

• Servicing and routine maintenance
• Mechanical repairs
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Electrical diagnosis and repairs
• General mechanical work
• Working predominantly on Porsche and prestige vehicles

VAG experience would be a big bonus, particularly if you know your way around the cars without needing to ask Google where the battery is.

You’ll have access to professional diagnostic equipment including Autologic, TechStar and Snap‑on, so you’ll have the tools to diagnose the problem rather than simply unplugging the battery and hoping for the best.

What you’ll get

Who are we looking for?

We’re after an experienced Vehicle Technician who can work confidently on their own initiative and takes genuine pride in their work.

You should be comfortable with:

• Mechanical work
• Diagnostics
• Fault finding
• Electrics

If you have experience with Porsche, prestige or VAG vehicles, even better.

We’re not necessarily looking for someone who knows absolutely everything just someone who knows their way around a car, can diagnose a fault without replacing half the vehicle, and doesn’t need to be told which end of the spanner to use.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points.
