You will perform vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a level 3 qualification and strong problem-solving skills. Competitive salary of £43k basic - £50k OTE plus benefits is offered.

Responsibilities

  • Completing scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Undertaking diagnostic activities to identify customer vehicle issues.
  • Conducting electronic visual health checks on all vehicles.
  • Liaising directly with customers to provide outstanding service.
  • Ensuring vehicle servicing is completed safely and high-quality.
  • Participating in ongoing training for product knowledge.

Overview

ROLE: Vehicle Technician
LOCATION: Guildford
SALARY: 43k basic - 50k ote + benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 - 5.30 - NO SATURDAYS!

We are seeking a level 3 (or equivalent) qualified Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician / Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic / Car Mechanic / Car Technician to join our clients Surrey based dealership. This is a fast-paced environment where you will be part of the team reporting to the Aftersales Manager.

You'll be putting your technical expertise to great use with work ranging from routine service and maintenance to solving complex technical problems.

Responsibilities
  • Completing scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Undertaking diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues
  • Conducting electronic visual health checks (eHVC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers
  • Liaising directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service
  • Ensuring vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high-quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date
About the successful candidate
  • Ideally, you will be a certified level 3 Technician
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
