Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy in Croydon is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a stable workshop-based team. The role offers a strong £41,000 salary, plus a company bonus potential and overtime at time and a half, with Monday to Friday hours for a solid work‑life balance.

You'll service, repair and inspect a variety of vehicles, diagnosing faults with modern diagnostics and delivering high-quality work in compliance with safety standards. MOT testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ or IMI qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment.
• MOT Tester qualification (preferred but not essential).
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• A reliable and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of vehicles.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carrying out inspections and routine maintenance.
• Completing work to a high standard in line with safety regulations.
• Supporting MOT testing where required.
