Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is working with an established independent garage in Berkshire to recruit an MOT Tester / Vehicle Mechanic.

This stable Monday-to-Friday post involves servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, MOT preparation and general mechanical repairs to a high standard.

Join a small, friendly team of three and enjoy a competitive £35,000 DOE, 20 days’ leave plus bank holidays, with no weekends and no overtime.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic.
• Ideally an MOT Tester Certificate.
• Experienced MOT Tester or Vehicle Technician.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently within a small team.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
• Perform general mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Work within a small 3-person team.

Are you a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role with no weekends and no overtime?

We're working with an established independent garage in Berkshire, which has been successfully trading for 26 years. Due to continued demand, they're looking for an experienced MOT Tester / Vehicle Mechanic to join their small, friendly team of just three.

The Role

You’ll be working on a variety of vehicles, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, MOT preparation and general mechanical repairs to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic
• Ideally an MOT Tester Certificate
• Experienced MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Car Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance
• Able to work independently within a small team
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licenceExperienced mechanic without an MOT licence? No problem - you will still be considered.
