VANRATH has partnered with one of Northern Ireland's most established family-run car dealerships. The organization is recruiting for a Senior Vehicle Technician / Mechanic position. This is a fantastic opportunity for any experienced individual in the Motor Industry to join a longstanding company that offers many routes for progression.

Location: Bangor

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 packages based on experience + fantastic benefits, company pension scheme, 30 days holidays, and overtime available.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks
  2. Carry out diagnostic procedures to determine faults
  3. Inspect vehicles according to current regulations
  4. Maintain a working knowledge of manufacturer processes
  5. Maintain legible and accurate records and paperwork
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Ability to work with up-to-date technology using the latest repair methods and processes
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Participation in manufacturer training programmes
  • Good oral and written communication skills, along with IT skills
  • Experience in a similar role at franchised retailer level
  • Full and valid UK driving licence
