Job description

Vehicle Technician- Yeomans Skoda Exeter

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join our busy Skoda Dealership in Exeter.

The successful candidate will be qualified as a vehicle technician from either a main dealer or independent background.

We are looking for reliable technicians that are customer focused and will be comfortable working to brand standards.

All Technicians will be trained to Service technicians within 18 months and candidates that show potential can then move on to High voltage training, Diagnostic technician training and finally master technician training. Since we are keen to train all of our technicians to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle inspections, routine servicing, and repairs
  • New and used vehicle prep.
  • Diagnosing complex problems. (support will be provided in this area if needed)
  • Ensure paperwork is accurate and video vehicle health checks are in-line with manufacturer standards.
  • Complete jobs within agreed timeframes while maintaining a high level of efficiency.
  • Work closely with the aftersales team and help contribute to our industry-leading levels of customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working area.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ level 3)
  • Full clean UK driving license.
  • Good computer skills
