Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the transition to electric vehicles by diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of EV models, alongside traditional internal combustion vehicles.
  • Deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest EV technologies, ensuring that you can provide expert support on electric vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and service.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and diagnostic work performed.
  • Be a key player in the dealership's shift towards becoming a leader in the EV market.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with expertise in mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
  • A qualification in vehicle repair (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • A keen interest in electric vehicles and the desire to be a part of the industry s exciting future.
  • Master Technician qualification (preferred) or a strong desire to work towards becoming a Master Technician.
  • A proactive and forward-thinking attitude with a passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • Full UK driving license.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • A solid understanding of electric vehicle technologies or the desire to quickly learn.
  • Experience working in a franchise dealership (preferred but not essential).
