Level 3 qualified Technician with 6+ years as an HGV Mechanic.

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on vehicles.
Support workshop team members and record job details accurately.

Vehicle Technician

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week

Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of the Largest Fleet organisation in the UK for experienced Vehicle Technicians on a permanent basis. We are looking for Technicians/mechanics from a Commercial, HGV, or PSV background.

If you are a level 3 qualified Technician with a proven track record as a Mechanic, we would love to hear from you. Time-served Technicians will also be considered. You will be an apprentice trained, fully qualified Technician with experience working with a variety of PSV or HGV vehicles.

The role:

Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair, and installation
Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment
Support workshop team members including Apprentice Technicians as required
Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details
Use of skills and performance of other work within normal grade/job skills as required by the Workshop Supervisor to maximise workshop efficiency

Skills & Experience:

Level 3 Motor Vehicle Mechanics City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent
6+ years as an HGV Mechanic
Previous experience as a qualified Fitter/Mechanic/Engineer
Possession of own tools
