Motor Vehicle Technician

Location: Burton

Salary: £28,000 - £37,000 (Depending on qualifications)

Overview:

C&B Recruitment are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop in Burton. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing various types of vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with power tools and hand tools. Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:

1. Assemble and disassemble vehicle components according to specifications
2. Use power tools and hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
3. Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and troubleshoot problems
4. Repair or replace faulty parts and components
5. Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and repair procedures
6. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
7. Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used
8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
9. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects

Experience:

1. Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role preferred
2. Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
3. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
4. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
5. Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
6. Welding experience is a plus
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
8. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
