Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician for a reputable family-run garage in Bracknell. The role offers Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm, with no weekend work and a salary up to £38,000 dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will service, maintain and repair vehicles, diagnose faults and undertake complex repairs, while progressing in a supportive workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• A minimum of three years' relevant experience; over five years is preferred.
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a garage or workshop environment.
• An MOT licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and general vehicle repairs.
• Complete routine work, including oil changes and brake inspections.
• Diagnose faults and undertake complex repairs.
• Replace parts and carry out cambelts, clutches, timing belts and timing chains.
• Ensure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards.
• Work efficiently and maintain accurate records.
• As a Vehicle Technician, adapt to new vehicle technologies and complete further training where required.
