Job summary

cinch is seeking a Vehicle Technician (Level 2 or 3) for our Derby store. The role involves servicing, repairs, MOT checks (if qualified) and diagnosing vehicle faults in a busy workshop environment.

You will perform air conditioning service, road tests, and warranty repairs while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to manufacturer standards. Ownership of your own tools is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Mechanical Inspector.
• Must have City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3.
• Full UK driving licence is essential, held for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general servicing of vehicles, repairs and MOT checks (if qualified).
• Complete air conditioning services as required.
• Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and undertake electrical diagnosis if needed.
• Undertake road and ramp testing.
• Carry out repairs to restore vehicles to original condition and handle warranty work.
• Ensure documentation and procedures are followed.

We are looking for aVehicle Technician to join ourmechanical department based at our Derby store.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Carry out general servicing of vehicles, repairs and MOT checks (if qualified)
• Complete air conditioning services as and when required
• Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles
• Undertake road and ramp testing
• Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to its original condition
• Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
• Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed

To be successful, you'll bring some of the following experience with you:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Mechanical Inspector
• Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3(required)
• Full valid UK driving licence is essential, held for a minimum of 2 years
• You must own your own tools
