Job summary

cinch is seeking a Vehicle Technician for our Derby store to service, diagnose and repair vehicles to meet high standards before customer delivery.

You will carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault diagnostics with air conditioning and MOT checks as applicable. A full UK driving licence, your own tools, and City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 are essential.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 qualification is essential.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Mechanical Inspector.
• Full UK Driving Licence, held for a minimum of 2 years.
• Own tools and ability to use diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete road and ramp testing.
• Carry out repairs in line with approved methods.
• Complete air conditioning services when required.
• Carry out MOT checks if qualified.
• Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer standards.
• Ensure all relevant documentation is completed accurately.

The role
