Vehicle Technician

Crawley

Hours - Monday - Friday 8 am - 5pm, Saturday 8am - 1pm (Rota Basis, typically 1 in 4)

Salary - up to £47,600 OTE (£30,000 - £39,000 basic plus £6,600 bonus uncapped, and additional £2k EV bonus) plus overachievement bonus!

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client’s main dealership in Crawley. The successful Vehicle Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles makes and models. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
  • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
  • You will need to have some experience as a vehicle technician and/or a relevant and up to date qualification.
  • It would be a huge bonus if you had an MOT qualification as well.
  • You will be a person who takes great pride in your work.
  • You will have incredible attention to detail and an eye for spotting things others cannot.
  • You will need a full valid UK driving licence and a stocked toolbox that you can use for work.
