• Position: Vehicle Technician
• Location: Corby
• Company: Used Car Dealership
• Basic Salary: £35,000 + Bonus
• OTE: £40,000 (before overtime)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (42.5 Hours)
• 1 in 4 Saturdays: (Flexible on start/finish times)

Our client is a respected used car dealer based in the Corby area. They are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop.

They offer an excellent basic salary, great bonus scheme, and only work one Saturday per month. There are Technicians at this site currently earning £55,000+ per year through the bonus and overtime.

The site is modern, well kept, and the workshop is equipped with the newest state-of-the-art equipment.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for all manner of repairs, so you must be confident in all aspects of light vehicle repairs and maintenance and complete all repairs to a high standard.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles in accordance with guidelines and specifications.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used, repairs conducted, and additional recommendations.
• Continue and update your individual experience, skills, and knowledge through training programmes.

Requirements/Qualifications for this Vehicle Technician role:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably within a main dealer.
• Ideally Level 3 in Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (applications from all levels of technicians are welcome).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
