Job summary

Perfect Placement Worcester is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join the Worcester, Worcestershire team. You will service, maintain and repair a range of vehicles while working to manufacturer standards.

Hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-17:30 with Saturdays on a rota. Basic salary up to £35,000 with OTE up to £38,000 plus bonuses and benefits through the main dealer. Manufacturer training and development programmes are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification is essential.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or similar.
• Experience with electric vehicles and high-voltage systems is highly desirable.
• Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work on a variety of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete routine vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Maintain health and safety standards during repair activities.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet service targets.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a variety of vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Complete routine vehicle inspections and health checks
• Utilise manufacturer standards to maintain high workmanship quality
• Maintain health and safety standards during all repair activities
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to meet service targets

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification - essential
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or similar environment
• Experience working on electric vehicles and high-voltage systems is highly desirable
• Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work methodically and efficiently under pressure
• Full UK driving licence
