Vehicle Technician

Location: Southampton - Bitterne area

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 basic + productivity bonus | OTE £42,000

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 08:45 - 17:00
  • Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays: 08:30 - 12:30 (paid as overtime)
About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealership service centre in the Southampton area. If you're someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and thrives in a professional, team-focused environment - this could be the perfect opportunity.

You'll be working in a modern, well-equipped workshop where your expertise will be valued, and your development actively supported through continuous training and progression routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs
  • Complete all work efficiently and in line with manufacturer and company expectations
  • Ensure all paperwork and job cards are accurate and compliant
  • Identify and recommend additional work as part of the company's Duty of Care responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service through high-quality workmanship
What We're Looking For
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Current MOT Tester licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous experience in a workshop or dealership environment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • A professional attitude with a strong team ethic
