Vehicle Technician in the Dartford / Bexleyheath area. A long-established and award-winning independent garage group is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join the team. Known locally for delivering main dealer standards at fair and competitive prices, the business has built its reputation on trust, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.

Offering a competitive salary of up to £42,000, steady Monday to Friday hours (8:00am-5:30pm with a 30-minute lunch), and 22 days of holiday plus bank holidays, this is an opportunity to join a professional, supportive environment with genuine stability and training. Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a wide variety of vehicles
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and accurately
• Ensure all work meets company and industry standards for safety and quality
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver a reliable, customer-focused service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workshop environment

Requirements

• At least 3 years\' experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• MOT testing or EV experience would be an advantage, but not essential
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high standards of work

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 - £42,000
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm (30 mins lunch)
• Holidays: 22 days + bank holidays
• Overtime: Paid flat rate, by the minute
