Job description

Marble Talent Group has an urgent requirement for a field-based vehicle technician to join a client covering the Cambridge area!

The client is a market-leading UK supplier of heavy plant and fleet services.

Responsibilities

• Changing oil and air filters, checking and rectifying faults on brakes, clutches, and gearboxes.
• Fitting and servicing ancillary equipment such as parking sensors, cameras, tow bars, and reverse cameras.
• Managing substances under COSHH Regulations, including oils, lubricants, and cleaning agents, along with risk assessments, COSHH assessments, safety data sheets, and first aid items.
• Discussing required repairs with the admin team and customers.
• Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing necessary work.
• Repairing or replacing components as needed.
• Performing service and vehicle system safety checks.
• Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

Personal Requirements

The role suits candidates with vehicle experience, particularly in service, repair, and installation of ancillary equipment. Experience in plant machinery would be a distinct advantage. Candidates should hold a full valid driving license with 6 points or less and relevant industry qualifications.
