An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a family-run Independent Garage, located in Bury St Edmunds.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties

• Conducting Servicing/Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• Adhering to both Manufacturer & Health & Safety Guidelines
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults
• MOT Testing
• Documenting information about Servicing & Repairing - ensuring it meets company policies

Requirements

• Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 Qualification, or equivalent
• Dedicated and committed approach
• Prior working experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work
• You should have your own tools
• Full UK Driving Licence

The salary of this role is up to £42,000 basic with OTE of £44,000. Hours of work in this Vehicle Technician role are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm, with 1-in-4 Saturday mornings.
