Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of our client for the Vehicle Technician position at a well-established family-run garage in Horsham. The role offers a modern workshop with the latest diagnostic tools and clear opportunities for career progression.

You will service a wide range of vehicles, perform MOT tests where qualified, diagnose faults, and maintain thorough workshop reports. Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm, 20 days holiday + BH, pension, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with strong vehicle maintenance background.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of latest vehicle technology and diagnostic equipment.
• MOT testing certification is desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

• Servicing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards.
• Performing MOT tests, subject to qualification, with scope for MOT testing responsibilities.
• Diagnosing vehicle faults accurately and efficiently.
• Conducting repairs and ensuring vehicle safety and reliability.
• Maintaining detailed workshop reports and documentation.
• Adhering to health and safety policies and regulations.
