Job description

Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an independent, family run garage located in Sharnford. The team is busy and bustling with a loyal customer base serving the local community. The role offers a salary circa £30,000, flexible with experience, with additional bonus and overtime. Working hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm (1 hour lunch) with NO WEEKENDS. It is a close-knit, family-run business and there is an opportunity to work within the shop on your own vehicles after hours or weekends if needed. MOT License Provider, Fully Funded.

Qualifications and motivation are important; the ideal candidate will be able to work with initiative and be fully qualified and experienced in the Vehicle Technician role.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and repairs to a variety of vehicles
• MOT testing
• Performing diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to a high standard

Requirements

• Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• A current and valid UK driving licence
• Dedicated and committed approach

Salary and Hours

• Salary up to £35,000 basic
