Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8am-5.30pm (during busy periods, some Saturday work may be requested at OT rate)

We are currently recruiting for a Motor Vehicle Technician Inspector to work for a well-known client in Brighouse. Our client is a leading name in the Motor Auctioning industry and is expanding their team by adding Inspectors or Technicians. Working here offers opportunities for growth, skill development, and being part of one of the largest Motor Vehicle Inspection operations in the UK. The site provides free on-site parking.

Role Responsibilities

  • Carrying out pre-determined mechanical point checks
  • Inspecting the mechanical condition of vehicles against set parameters
  • Performing technical vehicle assessments
  • Working towards set KPI productivity targets
  • Accurately processing data after inspections

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance (Level 1 candidates considered with experience)
  • Hands-on experience in vehicle repairs, e.g., in a garage or dealership
  • Recent knowledge of vehicle maintenance techniques
  • Strong communication, written, and numerical skills
  • Ability to work efficiently towards targets
