Overview

Vehicle Technician at Charles Hurst Land Rover

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:45pm, Saturday on a rota basis 9am-1pm

OTE up to £42,600, including a £34,000 basic salary plus a £6,600 bonus potential

Charles Hurst Land Rover is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting services, and completing repairs. We welcome flexible working hours to promote inclusivity.

Reporting to Lauren Mitchell, you will receive ongoing support, training, and career development opportunities, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training. Our technicians are vital to delivering first-class customer service, and we are looking for qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics, whether from dealer groups or independent garages.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out vehicle health checks with the latest technology
• Performing vehicle services per manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
• Conducting additional repairs with customer approval
• Completing warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines
• Road testing vehicles to ensure faults are rectified
• Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working within a workshop environment
• Self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn
• Full UK driving licence
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification; MOT licence is a bonus
• Experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential; brand training provided
