Pay & Benefits
  • Salary: £38,000 - £41,000 plus uncapped bonus scheme, training allowance, tool allowance, and overtime at time and a half.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:45 - 17:15.
  • Annual training allowance: £1,000.
  • Annual tool allowance: £500.
  • Overtime at time and a half.

About Us

Scotland & Bates Auto Repairs is an independent garage established in 1945, serving the local community with general motoring needs and more complex repairs. We are seeking a diagnostic/master technician to expand our skills base and enhance our customer service.

Hours

42.5 hours per week: 07:45 - 17:15, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Performing repairs such as replacing timing belts, clutches, completing MOT repairs, and servicing.
  • Investigation and fault-finding.
  • Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair (City & Guilds / NVQ) Level 3 or equivalent.
  • High-quality workmanship.
  • Current and valid car license.
  • Basic computer literacy.
