A leading company in vehicle maintenance is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician in Ashford to join their busy franchise dealership workshop. The role involves servicing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards and requires a Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance. • Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards if qualified.

Our client, a busy Main Franchised Dealership in Ashford have the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their established workshop team. V

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, responsibilities will include:

Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
Mechanic Warranty Repairs
Carry out MOT Tester to DVSA standards (If qualified)
Carry out New Car PDI's and Used Car Multi-Point Checks

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
2 years Post Apprenticeship Experience
Full and clean UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

Class 4 MOT Licence
Manufacturer Accreditations
MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)
