Job summary

Igloo Ltd in Livingston is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Strip Fitter to join a busy automotive bodyshop. This Temp to Perm position offers weekly pay during the temp period, with a clear pathway to permanent employment and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will strip and refit body panels, label parts, and reassemble to manufacturer standards, contributing to productivity and quality targets in a modern workshop.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Vehicle Strip Fitter or MET Technician.
• Own tools preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Full UK driving licence with up to 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Strip and refit body panels and components on vehicles.
• Remove parts, label and store them for reassembly.
• Refit components following manufacturer standards.
• Carry out repairs to restore original condition.
• Support other areas of the bodyshop when required.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
• Assist with training and support of junior colleagues.
