Shifts: 39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7am – 3.30pm, Friday 7am – 2pm

What’s it all about?

As our next Vehicle Services Technician, you’ll be responsible for vehicle cleanliness, both interior and exterior, and assisting with workshop duties. You will be able to carry out minor defect repairs when appropriate, including the collection and delivery of vehicles to Hovis sites across Northern Ireland. You should be keen to comply with company and road safety standards and maintain all vehicles to a high standard.

You will be responsible for:

  • Minor Vehicle Defect Repairs
  • Vehicle Cleaning (Interior and Exterior)
  • Workshop assistance and cleaning
  • Vehicle delivery and collection to and from Hovis depots in NI

This list is an example of tasks you may undertake, and you will be expected to work with the Vehicle Services team to meet KPIs.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be adaptable and resilient, able to find effective solutions, and tackle problems logically. You should be open to new challenges and eager to learn about areas within the vehicle services department.

The Key Requirements...
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety within a transport department
  • 3+ years of experience with an organization that manages its own fleet
  • HGV Class C Driving Licence
  • Up-to-date Driver CPC certificates
