Job summary

Halfords in Catford, Greater London, is hiring a Vehicle Service Technician to carry out interim, full and major services as well as follow-up repair work. Duties include tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

This full-time role offers a base salary of £32,500–£35,910 plus on-target earnings up to £40,910 and an uncapped monthly bonus around £5,000 per year. The position supports hybrid training and ATA & MOT Tester qualifications, with 5 days work per week.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and related repairs.
• Perform tyre, brake, transmission, steering and suspension work.
• Follow up repairs and replacements as needed.

Skills

Full driving licence
