Job summary

Halfords is hiring a Vehicle Service Technician at our UK Autocentre. You will carry out interim, full and major services, plus follow-up repairs including brakes, suspension and steering components, tyres and air conditioning.

You’ll perform additional work while upholding safety and customer service. We offer a base salary of £31,500 with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme and an average additional earning of £4,500 per year, with on-target earnings up to £36,000.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair work (brakes, suspension, steering, air con).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and follow-up repairs.
• Repair and replacement work including tyres, brakes, suspension and steering components.
• Contribute to maintaining safety and high levels of customer service.
