Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Service Technician for our automotive service centre in Bridgnorth. You will join a busy workshop handling servicing, repairs and diagnostics across a range of vehicles. A recognised Level 3 automotive qualification and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

You'll work Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm with Saturdays 8:30am-1:00pm on a rota. Basic salary is £31,000-£33,000 with a £3,600+ bonus and potential total earnings around

Qualifications

Recognised Level 3 automotive qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Service Technician or Mechanic.
Good knowledge of tyres, brakes, exhausts and suspension.
Diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
Complete mechanical repairs across a range of vehicles.
Replace and repair tyres, brakes, exhausts and suspension components.
Diagnose mechanical and vehicle faults.
Complete MOT repair work where required.
Carry out fast-fit work efficiently and accurately.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety.
