Job description

Position: Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a passionate individual with a keen eye for detail to join our friendly workshop team at Edwards Ford, Salisbury. Successful candidates will receive manufacturer (Ford) and in-house training, with clear development pathways through Ford’s state-of-the-art training hub.

The ideal candidate will have:

• An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in the automotive or engineering sector
• Previous experience in a vehicle workshop
• An MOT qualification is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided

Responsibilities include:

• Performing routine maintenance and service checks
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Producing vehicle health reports using electronic systems, following manufacturer guidelines
• Communicating technical issues to customers via video and face-to-face interactions

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Salary:

£35,000 - £45,000 OTE
