• Adhere to manufacturer and health & safety guidelines.

Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Service Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a Main Car Dealership located in Reading. Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Service Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

• Monday To Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm (40 Hour Week) / 1 In 4 Saturday Mornings 8am - 12pm

Duties

• Conducting Servicing/Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• PDI Prep tasks
• Adhering to both Manufacturer & Health & Safety Guidelines
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults
• MOT Testing
• Documenting information about Servicing & Repairing – ensuring it meets company policies

Requirements

• Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 Qualification, or equivalent
• Dedicated and committed approach
• Prior working experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work
• You should have your own tools
• Full UK Driving Licence

The salary of this role is up to £32,000 basic with OTE of £40,000. Hours of work are Monday To Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm (40 Hour Week) / 1-In-4 Saturday Mornings 8am - 12pm.
