Position: Car Sales Preparation Technician
Location: Byfleet

Approximately 40K OTE

Are you a skilled mechanic with a passion for cars? Our client require a Car Sales Preparation Technician to join their team to help prepare vehicles for sale, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Our client are an independently owned luxury car dealership offering car services and pre-owned vehicles for sale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, service, and prepare vehicles for sale, ensuring they meet the required safety and quality standards.
• Carry out necessary repairs, including mechanical and electrical diagnostics, and resolve any issues.
• Conduct pre-delivery checks and ensure that vehicles are clean, functional, and roadworthy.
• Install and adjust vehicle accessories, such as parking sensors, alloy wheels, or other features as required.
• Work closely with the sales and valeting teams to ensure vehicles are showroom ready.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest vehicle technology and manufacturer specifications.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a technician, with a focus on vehicle preparation and maintenance.
• Level 3 Qualification
• Main Dealer experience would be desireable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, ensuring vehicles are prepared on time.
• Full, valid UK driving license (preferred but not essential).

Working Hours: 08:00-18:00 OR 07:30 - 17:30. Saturdays 0900-12:30 on a 1 in 6 rota.

OTE up to 40K - basic salary depending on experience
